The Argentine Senate will postpone the debate on the labor reform bill until next week, as the Government has not yet sent the project to the upper house, which could delay its approval. The postponement is due to the fact that the Government has not yet forwarded the project to the Senate, and it is still unclear whether it will send it on Thursday evening, parliamentary sources confirmed to the Argentine News Agency (NA). One of the reasons is also that they are waiting for President Javier Milei to return to sign this initiative, which seeks to introduce a major change in labor relations. The CGT will meet on Thursday and will express an open rejection of the labor reform. In this context, the Labor and Social Security Committee may meet between Monday and Tuesday, so if the report is issued on Wednesday, the project can only be dealt with between December 29 and 30. The president of the Senate bloc, Patricia Bullrich, met this Wednesday with Vice President Victoria Villarruel to advance the formation of the Labor Legislation Committee, which will only be formed when the project arrives tomorrow or Friday.
